California and Oregon have been home in past years, but  residence is now Sun City Grand in Surprise, Arizona.  With Husband Clyde  now retired, the year is divided  between sketching,  photographing and painting the scenes and faces of the beautiful Pacific Northwest in summer and the colorful Southwest in winter.  Ada was introduced to oil painting while living in Oregon and continued pursuing her art studies and activities after moving to Arizona.
Her choice of medium is oil/acrylic on canvas or panel supports.  Style of choice is Realism rendered in a traditional approach.
Ada is a juried member of Arizona Art Alliance,  Art League West and  Sun City Grand Art Club.
Goal:  "Majestic mountains, rushing rivers, serene lakes, cascading waterfalls, abundant wildlife and so much  natural beauty all around us is a reminder of God and His awesome, unlimited creative power.  I hope to somehow capture on canvas some of the wonder and beauty of these picturesque vistas as I see them."     --ag
